  4. Authorize the approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting on April 16, 2019 and the Recess Meeting on April 23, 2019.
  5. Authorize the approval of accounts for all city departments.
  6. Consider the consent agenda:
    1. Request approval of Bradley Bray as a driver for Oxford Taxi. (Matt Davis)
    2. Request permission for the Director to attend the 2019 MS Tourism Association Board Retreat on May 13-15, 2019 in Biloxi, MS at an estimated cost of $165.00. (Hayden Guest)
    3. Request permission for a Oxford Utilities WWTP employee to attend Wastewater Training on May 21, 2019 in Grenada, MS at an estimated cost of $100.00. (Rob Neely)
    4. Request approval of Bentley Holcombe and Dominic Williams to intern with OPD for the Summer 2019 semester. (Jeff McCutchen)

    6. Request permission for two firefighters to attend a leadership class at the MS Fire Academy on May 7-8, 2018 with the only cost being per diem. (Joey Gardner)

    8. Request permission for three employees to attend an Administrative Assistant Conference on June 5, 2019 in Tupelo, MS at an estimated cost of $672.40 (registrations and mileage only). (Reanna Mayoral)
    9. Request permission for two employees to attend MS SWANA on May 14-15, 2019 in Bay St. Louis, MS at an estimated cost of $1,458.00. (Amberlyn Liles)
    10. Request permission to promote three employees in the Oxford Fire Department. (Braxton Tullos)
    11. Request permission to hire part-time seasonal employees in the Environmental Services Department. (Braxton Tullos)

  11. Third reading and vote on a proposed Ordinance amending Chapter 22 to create Section 22-3, Temporary Certificate of Occupancy Issuance and Fee Schedule in the City of Oxford, Mississippi Code of Ordinances. (Chris Carter)
  12. Second reading and public hearing of a proposed ordinance for Case #2482, Oxford Wisteria, LLC, to rezone +/- 1.44 acres from (NR) Neighborhood Residential to (SCO) Suburban Corridor for property located east of South Lamar, and approximately +/- 250 feet south of Office Park Drive, being further identified as PPIN 8907.   13. Second reading and public hearing of a proposed ordinance for Case #2483, Blackburn Communities, LLC, Rebel Hospitality, Inc. (New Regional Planning), and Kenlan Development for modifications to the Oxford Commons Planned Unit Development (PUD). (Judy Daniel)
  14. Request permission to accept a donation of gym equipment from a citizen. (Joey Gardner)
  15. Request permission to accept a donation of bottled water from Office Depot. (Joey Gardner)
  16. Request permission to accept the donation of Narcan from Communicare to be placed in all of the fire trucks. (Joey Gardner)
  17. Request permission to apply for the Firehouse Subs Grant in the amount of $30,000.00 with no match. (Joey Gardner)
  18. Third reading and vote on a proposed Ordinance amending Chapter 50, Article IV-Smoking Ban of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Oxford, Mississippi. (Jeff McCutchen)
  19. First reading of a proposed Ordinance amending Chapter 74, Article 74-13 prohibiting the use, purchase, possession, distribution, sale or offering for sale of synthetic cocaine or other synthetic products. (Jeff McCutchen)
  20. Request permission to declare 5 vehicles surplus in the Metro Narcotics Unit and authorize their sale on govdeals.com. (Jeff McCutchen)
  21. Consider a request from Community Church to use uniformed officers for traffic detail. (Jeff McCutchen)
  22. Request permission to accept the bids and award the low bid for a truck for the Public Works Department. (Reanna Mayoral)

  24. Consider a request from MTE, LLC to close University Avenue for one day to install a sewer main to serve Sonic. (Reanna Mayoral)
  25. Consider a request for a revocable license for W. L. Burle to install remediation recovery wells and associated piping in the right of way of South Lamar at the Oxford Marathon gas station. (Reanna Mayoral)
  26. Request permission to apply for CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) funds for the North Lamar Sewer Project and authorize the Mayor to sign all related documents. (Reanna Mayoral)
  27. Request permission to approve a resolution detailing the City of Oxford’s responsibility in maintaining the proposed system to receive CDBG funds for the North Lamar Sewer Project. (Reanna Mayoral)
