Abbeville, Mississippi Man Arrested in Oxford for DUI 4th

On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, an officer with the Oxford Police Department made a traffic stop for careless driving on College Hill Road. The officer came in contact with the driver, Mitchell Parrish (29 of Abbeville, Mississippi), and suspected him of driving under the influence. A DUI investigation was conducted at that time. During the stop officers learned that Parrish had at least three prior DUI convictions on his record. He was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center and charged with DUI 4th, careless driving, no insurance, and open container. He was given a bond of $5,000 by a Justice Court Judge.
