Abbeville, Mississippi Man Arrested for DUI 3rd, Speeding, Suspended Driver’s License under Implied Consent, and No Insurance

On Friday, February 1, 2019, at approximately 11:40 pm, an officer stopped a vehicle on University Avenue for speeding. During the course of the stop the officer believed that the driver, Jessie Dunn (26 of Abbeville, Mississippi), was under the influence.

A DUI investigation ensued where Dunn was subsequently arrested. Officers learned that Dunn had at least two prior DUI convictions within the past five years on his driving record.

Dunn was transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center was he was booked for DUI 3rd, Speeding, Suspended Driver’s License under Implied Consent, and No Insurance. He was given a bond $5,000 by a Justice Court Judge.
