mired in the morass

mistaking the meaning

missing the mother

antipathy

aggression

agent of angst

anticipating anguish

anchored by atrocity

admonished

ashamed

alas alone

in the alienated alternative

discuss the dust

distrust the distress

displaced down

deepening despair

dig the ditch

dark and dank

disgust drips

dismal

dreary

declare the deed

draw the dagger

derailed derision

dire decision

disappointment delivers

the deadly deed
