This event is held annually in Como, Mississippi, to honor the life and legacy of Hill Country bluesman R. L. Boyce, who passed away in 2023.
The free event features live music, free food (while supplies last), and a good time. It will run from 5 pm until (probably about midnight). The event is made possible by the Mississippi Arts Council and Tim Scruggs, and has been coordinated by R.L.’s daughter Sherena Boyce and ethnomusicologist Dr. John Shaw.
