LaDarius “Snoop” White and Anthony Perez led Ole Miss down the stretch and the Rebels defeated Auburn 86-79. The Rebels, (16-7, 7-3) won their fifth straight SEC game. As a team, Ole Miss shot 58 percent from the floor, including a 72 percent performance in the second half.
White, who finished with a team-high 20 points, was 8 of 12 from the floor including two three pointers. Perez contributed 10 points, five rebounds and three crucial free throws late. Both players came off the bench to lead the charge. Ole Miss’ bench produced 34 points to Auburn’s 14.
The Rebels continued to dominate at the charity stripe, hitting 20 of 24 in the second half and 73 percent for the game.
Ole Miss will play Florida on the road in Gainesville Thursday, February 12. The game will be aired by ESPN2 at 6PM.
