The Oxford School District is pleased to welcome Jordan Russell to the Board of Trustees following his appointment last month.
Mr. Russell brings extensive professional leadership experience, along with the firsthand perspective of an Oxford parent, to his role on the Board of Trustees. He and his wife, Lee, have three children, including two currently enrolled in the Oxford School District and one who will be joining the district this fall as a rising 3K student.
Mr. Russell also serves as president of PDG Advisors, the general consulting division of Push Digital Group, where he works with corporate, government, and political clients from across the country. Throughout his career, he has worked in and around government, communications, and public affairs, bringing a strong understanding of leadership, community engagement, and strategic planning to his role on the Board of Trustees.
His connection to the district extends beyond his professional background and is rooted in his experience as an Oxford parent and community member.
“The Oxford School District has built one of the strongest public school systems in Mississippi because of the vision and hard work of the people who came before us. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help continue that tradition,” said Jordan Russell. “My hope is that OSD continues to be a place defined by high expectations, achievements, and a commitment to excellence in academics, athletics, and student opportunities, while remaining a place that Oxford families are proud to call home.”
The Oxford School District welcomes Mr. Russell to the Board of Trustees and looks forward to his contributions in supporting the district’s continued growth and success.
