On Saturday, April 6, 2019, officers with the Oxford Police Department responded to a call about a sexual assault. After interviewing the victim investigators were able to identify the suspect as Guy Turnbow (76 of Oxford, Mississippi).
A warrant for sexual battery was issued for his arrest. On April 16th, Turnbow was arrested and booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center. He was given a bond of $20,000 by a Justice Court Judge.
