On Monday, June 5, 2023, the Oxford Police Department took approximately 32 auto burglary reports in the area of Anderson Road, Anchorage Road, and Old Sardis Road.
After investigating, Dewayne Pegues (19 years old of Oxford, Mississippi) was arrested and charged with 32 counts of Burglary from Cars.
He was given a bond of $75,000 by a Justice Court Judge but had his bond revoked for already being out on a felony bond.
