The University of Mississippi Medical Center has raised 80% of a $125 million goal to fund construction of its Cancer Center and Research Institute, which will provide advanced cancer treatment, research and education.
The University of Mississippi raised a record $284.6 million in private support during fiscal year 2026, marking its third consecutive record fundraising year. The total represents a 32% increase, or $69 million, over the previous year and will support scholarships, research, cancer care, facilities and athletics.
