Circuit Clerks offices in every Mississippi county will be open on Saturday, February 11 until noon to accept voter registrations and registration updates. Absentee voting in the Republican Primary is going on now through March 10, 2012. Circuit Clerks offices will be open on Saturday, March 10 from 8 am until noon to accept absentee voting. You can also vote Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm until March 9th.

Previously, Newt was Editor of PROFANE EXISTENCE in Minneapolis, and later, Art Director for Ole Miss' LIVING BLUES magazine. Newt's many publishing projects led to THE LOCAL VOICE™, which he founded in March of 2006, and ROUNDABOUT OXFORD®, which he founded in May of 2023.
Newt's alter ego—Neuter Cooter—lead the Mississippi band THE COOTERS® to Rocknoll Glory across the USA from 1993-2018. The Cooters music is on most major streaming services.
