Pontotoc Man Arrested for Grand Larceny in Lafayette County

On May 11, 2026, Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office received a report of stolen items. After an investigation was conducted, an affidavit was signed and an arrest warrant was issued for Grand Larceny over $1000.00.

Robert Craig Thomas of Pontotoc was taken into custody in Pontotoc, Mississippi on March 13, 2026.

Thomas was transported back to Lafayette County and appeared before a Justice Court Judge on Thursday, May 14, 2026 and was issued a $2,500.00 bond.

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this case.
