On December 2 , 2025, Oxford Police Department responded to a call regarding threats on social media at an apartment complex on Anderson Road.
After the investigation, Jordan Rupert, 24, of West Point, MS was arrested and charged with Cyberstalking/Email Threats and Harassment. Rupert was arrested in Clay County on another jurisdiction’s warrant, and a hold was placed on him.
Rupert was taken to a Municipal Court judge for his initial bond hearing.
