On March 25 , 2026, the Oxford Police Department took a walk-in report regarding harassing text messages.
After an Oxford Police Department detective investigated the case, a warrant was issued for Aaron Anderson, 43, of Jackson, MS. On April 9, Anderson was transported from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office to the Lafayette County Detention Center.
Anderson was taken before a Municipal Court judge for his initial bond hearing.
