On Tuesday September 12, 2023, officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of North Lamar Boulevard for a welfare concern. After investigation, Pamela Hicks, 54, of Oxford, Mississippi, was arrested and charged with Child Endangerment.
Hicks was taken before a Municipal Court judge for her initial bond hearing and issued a $25,000 bond.
The Oxford Police Department is housed 715 Molly Barr Road. The department has more than 70 full-time officers and staff and provides a wide range of protection and enforcement services.
