On March 6, 2021, Robert Hawks was stopped for running a red light on University Avenue. A DUI investigation was initiated to determine if Hawks was safe to drive. He was subsequently arrested and charged with Running a Red Light and DUI 4th.
His bond was set at $5,000 by a Lafayette County Justice Court judge.
The Oxford Police Department is housed 715 Molly Barr Road. The department has more than 70 full-time officers and staff and provides a wide range of protection and enforcement services.
