On Saturday, November 21, 2020, at approximately 3 pm, the Oxford Police Department was notified by through a tip about a male soliciting a minor for sexual purposes through social media.
After investigation, Ricky Williams, (43 of Oxford, Mississippi), was charged with felony Enticement of a Child for Sexual Purposes. Williams was given a $75,000 bond by a Lafayette County Justice Court judge.
The Oxford Police Department is housed 715 Molly Barr Road. The department has more than 70 full-time officers and staff and provides a wide range of protection and enforcement services.
