  1. Call to order.
  2. Adopt the agenda for the meeting.
  3. Mayor’s Report
  4. Authorize the approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting on December 18, 2018.
  5. Authorize the approval of accounts for all city departments.
  6. Consider the consent agenda:
    1. Request approval for the Mayor and the Chief Operations Officer to travel to Washington, DC on January 29-February 2, 2019 at an estimated cost of $2,600.00. (Bart Robinson)
    2. Request permission for two officers to attend Drug Recognition Expert Instructor training on January 7-18, 2019 in Biloxi, MS at an estimated cost of $1,000.00. (Joey East)
    3. Request permission for three officers to attend Proactive Criminal Patrol training on January 14-17, 2019 in Meridian, MS at an estimated cost of $500.00. (Joey East)
    4. Request permission for two officers to attend New Chief’s training on January 7-11, 2019 in Ridgeland, MS at an estimated cost of $1,430.00 plus per diem. (Joey East)

  7. Authorize an appointment to the Oxford Tourism Council.
  8. Request permission to declare a bus surplus in the Oxford University Transit Department. (Donna Zampella)
  9. Third reading, public hearing and vote on a proposed ordinance amending Chapter 38-Fire Protection and Fire Prevention to allow agricultural burning. (Bart Robinson/Joey Gardner)
  10. Second reading and public hearing on a proposed ordinance for Case #2423, Modifications to the City of Oxford Land Development Code (Articles 2,3,5,6,7,9 & 10). (Judy Daniel)
