Water Valley Woman Arrested for Disturbance of Family, Resting Arrest, and two counts of Assault on an Lafayette County Law Enforcement Officer

On December 4, 2025, Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance on County Road 288.

While on scene, Deputies attempted to take the disturbing party Orianna Buck (black female 18 years old) (Water Valley, Mississippi) into custody for Family Disturbance.

While conducting the arrest, Orianna resisted and assaulted two deputies, causing minor injuries to one of them.

Orianna was transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where she was booked on Disturbance of Family, resting arrest, and two counts of assault on a two counts of Simple Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer (Felony).

She later appeared before a justice court judge, where she was issued a $15,000 bond.
