On October 17, 2025, officers responded to a call at Walmart for two people shoplifting. The suspects were identified as Theautry Allen, 44, of Greenwood, Mississippi, and Shalonda Anderson, 42, of Greenwood.
When officers arrived on the scene, they were able to stop the two from fleeing the scene. Allen left the store with items, while Anderson did not.
Allen was arrested for Felony Shoplifting and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, while Anderson was arrested for Conspiracy to Commit a Crime. Allen and Anderson were each taken before a Municipal Court judge for their initial bond hearings.
