On February 14, 2025 the Oxford Police Department responded to a Child Protective Services referral regarding two minors that tested positive for multiple narcotics. A warrant was obtained for Jacqueline Chatman, 32, Oxford, Mississippi. After an investigation narcotics were located within the residence.
On February 18th, Chatman was taken into custody without incident and charged with two counts of Child Endangerment.
Chatman was taken before a Municipal Court judge for her initial bond hearing.
The Oxford Police Department is housed 715 Molly Barr Road. The department has more than 70 full-time officers and staff and provides a wide range of protection and enforcement services.
