On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at approximately 7:18 am, the Oxford Police Department responded to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on Highway 334.
Officers, along with firefighters and EMS, arrived and immediately began treating the pedestrian, Dudley Earl Freeman, 83 of Oxford, who was subsequently sent to Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in critical condition.
Mr. Freeman succumbed to his injuries at 6:00 am this morning. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
