The Mississippi Senate and House of Representatives passed legislation today providing $160,000,000 to allow for the four-laning of Highway 7 South from the Highway 7 and Belk Boulevard intersection to the Highway 7/9 roundabout.
This along with the $15,000,000 appropriated for the project in 2023 will allow for this much needed improvement to be a reality. The success is a result of local and state leaders working collectively and will improve the safety, quality of life and economic opportunity for our community and those around us.
