Okolona Man Arrested for Aggravated Stalking, Felony Fleeing, and Protection Order Violation After Incident in the Parking Garage on The Square in Oxford, Mississippi

On August 6, 2025, the Oxford Police Department received a call about a male who was actively violating a protection order. Officers located the suspect, Mitchell Wren (23 of Okolona, Mississippi) the parking garage off The Square. Wren then fled from officers in the vehicle. The pursuit was terminated for safety reasons.

On August 7th, investigators with OPD had arrest warrants for Aggravated Stalking, Felony Fleeing, and Protection Order Violation issued.

Wren was located in Monroe County and taken into custody by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. He was transported back to Oxford and booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center on the aforementioned warrants.

No bond has been set at this time.
