Orlando Perez, 31, of Jacksonville, Florida.
On September 5, 2025, officers with the Oxford Police Department responded to a disturbance at a hotel on the 1500 block of University Avenue in Oxford, Mississippi.
Upon arrival, officers found one individual suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital where they have since been released and are expected to make a full recovery.
The suspect, Orlando Perez, 31, of Jacksonville, Florida, was detained and taken into custody.
Perez was charged with Aggravated Assault – Use of a Deadly Weapon. Perez was taken before a Municipal Court judge for his initial bond hearing.
