On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, the Oxford Police Department took a counterfeit check report from a bank in the 2500 block of West Jackson Avenue.
On June 6th, after investigating, Ricky Farmer Jr (21 of Batesville, Mississippi) was arrested on a traffic stop and charged with 1 count of uttering forgery.
He was given a bond of $5,000 by a Justice Court Judge.
The Oxford Police Department is housed 715 Molly Barr Road. The department has more than 70 full-time officers and staff and provides a wide range of protection and enforcement services.
