Bobby Griffin, 34 years old of Batesville, Mississippi
On April 1, 2025, Investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff‘s Office began an investigation regarding stolen property from an individual.
During the investigation, charges were filed on Bobby Griffin, 34 years old of Batesville, Mississippi, for Grand Larceny. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
Investigators attempted to serve the warrant several times, however could not locate Griffin. On June 11, 2025, Investigators received information regarding the whereabouts of Griffin.
Investigators and Warrant Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on County Road 113 and located Griffin. Griffin was taken into custody without incident.
During the arrest, Investigators located firearms in the residence. Griffin is a prior convicted felon, and was subsequently charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Griffin appeared before a Justice Court Judge and was set a $20,000.00 bond. Griffin is being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center for a Mississippi Department of Corrections Hold due to him being on Probation.
