The 2020 Oxford Mississippi St. Paddy’s Pub Crawl will be held on Saturday, March 14, starting at 3 pm at Harrison’s 1810.
From there, the route will wind to Moe’s Penny Bar, Proud Larry’s, Round Table on the Square, The Library Sports Bar, Funky’s Pizza and Daiquiri Bar, Rooster’s Blues House, and will end at The Blind Pig Pub. There will be plenty of giveaways, and the first 300 people will receive a commemorative pin and koozie.
Dress to impress, because there will be a prize for the best costume. Additionally, the Rebel Irish Dancers will perform along the route. Jameson, Bushmills, and Bailey’s Irish Crème will be joining the celebration with giveaways, samples, and specials. Participating establishments will also be running specials.
This is the 10th anniversary of the St. Paddy’s Pub Crawl. It started in 2010 with 15 friends who wanted to start a St. Patrick’s event in Oxford. They picked up about five more people along the way. The following year there were over 100 participants. Since then it has grown to around 500 with people coming from as far away as Minnesota to be part of the festivities. This is a word-of-mouth event with most people hearing about it from friends.
