Aging pipes and drinking water quality are a part of life for many Mississippi communities.
On Wednesday, October 14, a local plumbing company is doing something practical about it.
Happy Pipes Plumbing, HVAC & Septic will celebrate the grand opening of its new storefront by launching a
permanent Free Community Filtered Water Station. Any member of the community can bring their own containers and fill up with clean, filtered drinking water, free of charge on any day of the week.
Event Details:
- Happy Pipes Storefront Grand Opening and Free Water Station Launch
- When: Wed, October 14, 2026, 11 am to 1 pm (Ribbon-cutting with Chamber leaders at 11:30 am)
- Where: Happy Pipes, 185 Highway 6, Oxford MS 38655
- Attending: Happy Pipes founder and CEO Jake Clemons, Oxford-Lafayette Chamber of Commerce leaders, team members and community neighbors
Why It Matters:
- A permanent resource, not a one-day giveaway. This station stays open to the public 24/7, year round.
- Practical peace of mind for families who have a reliable resource close to home.
- Local roots: Jake Clemons is a fourth-generation tradesman who founded Happy Pipes in 2023, after
spending 10 years building GreenPro. The company was named Best Plumber, Best HVAC and Best
Contractor in 2026, and Jake earned Best Business Owner.
“Clean water shouldn’t depend on your zip code or your budget. We fix water lines for a living, so this felt like the most natural way to give back to the neighbors who’ve supported us from day one,” said Jake Clemons, Founder, Happy Pipes Plumbing, HVAC & Septic.
