Gold & Pearls Collective is proud to announce its selection to participate in the 11th Annual Night for Nonprofits, hosted by the Lafayette Oxford Foundation for Tomorrow (LOFT). The annual event brings together nonprofit organizations serving Oxford and Lafayette County to celebrate their work, introduce the community to local initiatives, and highlight projects that align with LOFT’s pillars of support: education, health and human services, arts and culture, community improvement, and municipal support.
“We are truly honored to be selected for the 11th Annual Night for Nonprofits,” said Danielle Maury, Founder and Executive Director of Gold & Pearls Collective. “As a growing organization, it is a privilege to stand alongside other nonprofits doing meaningful work throughout Oxford and Lafayette County. This opportunity allows us to share not only what Gold & Pearls Collective does, but why investing in the confidence, leadership, and well-being of women and young people matters to the future of our community.”
Gold & Pearls Collective empowers women and youth through transformative programs that cultivate life skills, identity, and emotional resilience. Through leadership development, confidence building, mentoring, literacy, pageantry, and community-based experiences, the organization works to help participants recognize their potential and become catalysts for positive change in their families, communities, and futures.
“Night for Nonprofits gives us an invaluable opportunity to introduce more people to our mission and the programs we are building right here in our community,” Maury added. “Every connection, partnership, volunteer, and financial contribution helps us create more opportunities for women and young people to rise in confidence, discover their purpose, and develop the skills they need to lead. We are excited to meet our neighbors, share our vision, and invite the community to become part of what we are building.”
This year’s Night for Nonprofits will take place Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 6 pm at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center.

LOFT Executive Director Dr. Jody Holland shared, “Eleven years in, this night has become a real fixture on the Oxford calendar. Attendees hear about the various programs and projects the nonprofit organizations are doing within the Oxford and Lafayette community, and then attendees cast a vote for the nonprofit they most want to see win a Crowd Favorite Award. There aren’t many opportunities to put that decision in the community’s hands.”
At the event, nonprofits will compete for several awards, including the $2,500 Crowd Favorite Award, which will be determined by live voting from event attendees. Nonprofits are also eligible for the $500 Board Member Engagement Raffle for organizations that bring at least 50 percent of their board members to the event. In addition, LOFT will present $50,000 to 34 nonprofit organizations throughout the evening.
“Every organization at the event is addressing a need somebody in Oxford and Lafayette County is living with right now,” added Dr. Holland. “Our hope is that people leave having found one or two nonprofits they want to stay involved with long after the evening ends.”
Gold & Pearls Collective encourages community members, supporters, families, and local leaders to attend Night for Nonprofits, visit the organization’s presentation, and learn more about its work. Attendees will also have the opportunity to cast their vote for the Crowd Favorite Award, providing a direct way for the community to support an organization whose mission resonates with them.
