On March 10, 2026, Investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a sexual assault
After gathering information from the reporting party, Investigators obtained an affidavit and arrest warrant on Charles Parker Cochran Jr. for Rape with Intent to Ravish [97-3-71].
Charles Cochran Jr. was located and subsequently arrested on March 10, 2026. Cochran appeared before a Justice Court Judge on March 11, 2026, and was issued a $50,000.00 bond.
