Ole Miss Baseball and Ole Miss Softball are partnering with The League of Angels to bring their unique baseball experience to Swayze Field on Monday, September 8.
“We are excited to welcome The League of Angels to Swayze Field for their first college baseball event. Tanner and his team are doing something special, and we can’t wait to help bring the experience to the Oxford community,” head coach Mike Bianco said.
Based out of Knoxville, The League of Angels is a baseball program founded by former Kentucky baseball player Tanner Kim that is focused on serving people with disabilities and giving them a chance to play the game. Their goal is to host monthly events at baseball venues around the country, giving as many people as possible the opportunity to play the game.
Next week’s event at Swayze Field will be the first of its kind to take place inside a college baseball venue. Fans are encouraged to attend and be a part of the experience. The event is scheduled to begin at 5 pm and will end around 7 pm. Admission to the event is free and the gates at Swayze Field will open at 4:30 pm.
