
Andi Claire Edwards, 18, of Banner, Mississippi.
On July 2, 2025, at 6:11 am, officers with the Oxford Police Department responded to a 911 call from a hotel located in the 2200 block of West Jackson Avenue in Oxford, Mississippi. The caller reported that they had been robbed.
Officers arrived and quickly secured the scene. Investigators were called out to continue the investigation. It was determined that the victim had arranged to meet a prostitute at the hotel. During the encounter, the victim was robbed by multiple individuals.
As a result of the investigation, the following individuals were arrested and charged:
- Devanta Quincy Brooks, 28, of Calhoun City, Mississippi
- Andi Claire Edwards, 18, of Banner, Mississippi
- Shukota Tiamber-Trina Herrod, 30, of Calhoun City, Mississippi
- Arnasia Shanice Holmes, 21, of Vardaman, Mississippi
Each was charged with Robbery, Promoting Prostitution, Kidnapping, and Conspiracy.
The 911 caller was arrested on scene for a misdemeanor charge of Procuring Prostitution. All five individuals were transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center. Bonds were set by a Municipal Court Judge.
