On August 19, 2020, at approximately 3:15 am, patrol officers interrupted three auto burglars actively breaking into cars in the 2700 block of South Lamar Boulevard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officers identified two adult males, Tyler Owens<\/strong> (19 of Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>) and Kenshawn Harden<\/strong> (18 of Oxford) they also took a juvenile into custody. Officers located multiple stolen firearms and other property in the possession of these men. The property was\u00a0stolen from victims in the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators responded to the scene and at approximately 8:25 am investigators along with patrol officers and agents with the Lafayette County Metro Narcotics Unit<\/strong> executed a search warrant in the 2000 block of Archive Circle<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside they found additional stolen firearms and took two more individuals into custody identified as, Ja\u2019Darius Manning<\/strong> (19 of Oxford) and Alaina Webb<\/strong> (18 of Oxford). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators have charged Tyler Owens with 15 counts of Auto Burglary, 1 count of Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, and 1 count of Directing a Youth to Commit a Felony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kenshawn Harden is charged with 4 counts of Auto Burglary, 1 count of Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, 1 count of Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and 1 count of Directing a Youth to Commit a Felony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ja\u2019Darius Manning is charged with 1 count of Possession of a Stolen Firearm, 2 counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 drug with intent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alaina Webb is charged with 1 count of Possession of a Stolen Firearm and 2 counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 drug with intent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Justice Court Judge set all of their bonds on August 20, 2020. Owens received a $75,000 bond but will remain at the Lafayette County Detention Center<\/strong> on hold for the Mississippi Department of Corrections<\/strong>. Harden received a $35,000 bond. Manning received a $15,000 bond. Webb received a $15,000 bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
