Safety Protocols<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the health and safety measures the Mississippi Museum recently enacted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Installing signs, partitions, and physical distancing markers throughout the museum and offices<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Requiring staff to follow health department directives, including maintaining social distancing, proper handwashing, wearing face masks while onsite, daily temperature checks and health screenings, including sending home sick employees, or those who appear to be experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>COVID-19 testing will also be required for any employee who experiences symptoms or has been exposed to the virus<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipe stations have been placed throughout the building for guests, staff, and visitors<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>All high-touch areas, such as door handles, will be sanitized at a minimum of once every two hours with chemicals approved by the EPA<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Museum Occupancy Limits &amp; Timed Ticketing<\/strong><br><br>In addition, to ensure the health and safety of its visitors and staff, GRAMMY Museum Mississippi will limit its daily occupancy to 25 percent per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Guests will be required to complete a wellness check before entering confirming that they do not have a fever, symptoms, and any potential contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Museum will also offer exclusive gallery time for members, seniors and vulnerable populations.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Furthermore, the Sanders Soundstage will be closed during this phase of reopening.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Timed entry tickets will be available for purchase via the museum\u2019s website at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.grammymuseumms.org\" target=\"_blank\">www.grammymuseumms.org<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/203-e1525985245738-1.jpg?resize=315%2C237\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-89414\" width=\"315\" height=\"237\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/203-e1525985245738-1.jpg?w=593&amp;ssl=1 593w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/203-e1525985245738-1.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 315px) 100vw, 315px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>When health department officials confirm efforts to slow the spread of the virus have been effective, the Museum will provide more information regarding increased operating hours and occupancy, as well as controlled-capacity programs, events, groups, and workshops.
