Today the Mississippi Department of Health<\/strong> (MSDH) is reporting 168 new cases of COVID-19<\/strong> in Mississippi <\/strong>and 2 new deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 19,516, with 891 deaths.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently there are 467 Mississippians hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

26 of the new cases reported today were among residents in long-term care facilities, and there are now 85 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
