Today the Mississippi Department of Health<\/strong> (MSDH) is reporting 251 new cases of COVID-19<\/strong> in Mississippi <\/strong>and 5 new deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 15,752, with 739 deaths.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently there are 418 Mississippians hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13 of the new cases reported today were among residents in long-term care facilities, and there are now 136 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
