{"id":85758,"date":"2020-03-25T17:15:13","date_gmt":"2020-03-25T22:15:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/?p=85758"},"modified":"2020-03-25T17:15:16","modified_gmt":"2020-03-25T22:15:16","slug":"lafayette-county-mississippi-board-of-supervisors-pass-emergency-declarations-for-unincorporated-areas-of-the-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/lafayette-county-mississippi-board-of-supervisors-pass-emergency-declarations-for-unincorporated-areas-of-the-county\/","title":{"rendered":"Lafayette County, Mississippi Board of Supervisors Pass Emergency Declarations for Unincorporated Areas of the County"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Lafayette County Board of Supervisors<\/strong> have passed several emergency declarations through executive sessions in the past few days to limit the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The emergency declarations will remain in effect until rescinded by the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Included in the declarations are as follows: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Monday, March 16, 2020 \u2013&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Board requested no organized gatherings of fifty or more and to follow the CDC recommendations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Friday, March 20, 2020 \u2013<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Section 2.<\/strong> For as long as the Governor\u2019s Emergency Proclamation remains in effect and until further order of the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors, all\u00a0<strong>restaurants doing business in the unincorporated areas of the County shall limit all\u00a0 food service through the use of drive-thru, curbside pick-up or delivery methods, and the use by the public of interior or exterior common dining facilities is hereby prohibited.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Section 3.<\/strong> The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors\u00a0<strong>requires all churches, businesses and families to adhere to the CDC guidelines and Governor\u2019s recommendation of not more than 10 people together<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Section 4<\/strong>.
