{"id":82985,"date":"2020-01-13T09:15:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-13T15:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/?p=82985"},"modified":"2020-01-13T15:40:16","modified_gmt":"2020-01-13T21:40:16","slug":"oxford-mississippi-man-charged-with-public-drunk-and-felon-in-possession-of-a-firearm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/oxford-mississippi-man-charged-with-public-drunk-and-felon-in-possession-of-a-firearm\/","title":{"rendered":"Oxford, Mississippi Man Charged with Public Drunk and Felon in Possession of a Firearm"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Saturday, January 11, 2020, officers with the <strong>Oxford Police Department<\/strong> responded to <strong>Marquis Chevron<\/strong> for a report of a male waving a gun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Officers were able to locate the male on <strong>South Lamar Boulevard<\/strong> and identified him as <strong>Quintin Bowens<\/strong> (41 of <strong>Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>). Officers found two concealed firearms on Bowens and subsequently arrested him for public drunk and carrying a concealed weapon (both misdemeanors). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OPD later determined that Bowens is a convicted felon. Bowens was charged with felon in possession of a firearm.
