Readers include members from the LOU community to acknowledge one of King&#8217;s most powerful works.<\/li><li><strong>Monday,<\/strong>  <strong>January 20:<\/strong>\u00a0Community opening ceremony from 8 am to noon at <strong>Second Baptist Church<\/strong>, 611 Jackson Avenue East. Activities include a community breakfast sponsored by <strong>Saint Peter&#8217;s Episcopal Church<\/strong>, a canned food drive, a voter registration drive sponsored by the Urban League of Women Voters, an NAACP membership drive, and a community program honoring civil rights trailblazers. Following the breakfast, there will a march from Second Baptist to the <strong>Lafayette County Courthouse<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Monday January 20:<\/strong>\u00a0A film screening, co-sponsored by the <strong>Oxford Film Festival<\/strong> and <strong>Southern Foodways Alliance<\/strong>, 2\u20134 pm at the <strong>Powerhouse Community Arts Center<\/strong>.
