A special screening of If These Porches Could Talk<\/em> will show at Malco Studio Cinema on August 6 at 7 pm<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Mississippi-based filmmaker Travis Mills<\/strong> returns to Oxford<\/strong> with his new Southern comedy\/murder mystery, If These Porches Could Talk<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. This is the sequel to Porches and Private Eyes<\/em><\/strong>, which screened in Oxford in 2016 to an enthusiastic crowd. The special screening at Malco Studio Cinema<\/strong> on August 6 is sponsored by the Oxford Film Festival<\/strong> and will be followed by a Q&A with writer\/director Travis Mills and select cast members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gossip-loving ladies from the first film return for more family-friendly adventures in If These Porches Could Talk<\/em>. This time around, our three leading ladies take the mystery on the road, investigating the supernatural from Hattiesburg<\/strong> to Natchez<\/strong> and even making an appearance at the Witch\u2019s Grave<\/strong> in Yazoo City<\/strong>. They are joined by an ensemble cast of Mississippi\u2019s best talent including newcomers Bill Perkins<\/strong>, Martha Arrington<\/strong>, and Oxford filmmaker\/actor Damon Burks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
