This year marks the 10th year of the Yoknapatawpha\nArts Council\u2019s most popular fundraiser event, Miss-i-sippin\u2019. The event takes\nplace over the last weekend of March, Thursday through Saturday, with a free\nkickoff event, banquet, scavenger hunt, and the family-friendly after party at\nthe Old Armory Pavilion. Tickets can be purchased on the YAC website here: www.oxfordarts.com\/shop\/category\/45-miss-i-sippin.\nCheck out the schedule of events below and go ahead and clear your calendar for\none of the most fun weekends of the Spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jacksonsippin\u2019 Kickoff Event<\/strong>
Thursday, March 28, 4\u20138 pm<\/strong>
Jackson Beer Company (1801 W. Jackson Ave. Ste D-103)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head over to Jackson Beer Company for this Miss-i-sippin\u2019 kickoff event. FREE admission. Food provided by Southern Craft Stove & Tap and of course there will be BEER!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brewers\u2019 Banquet<\/strong>
Friday, March 29, 6\u20139 pm<\/strong>
The Lamar (1343 N. Lamar)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening night event is the Brewers\u2019 Dinner al fresco at The Lamar. The breweries will be on site for beer fans to have a chance to talk with the owners or brewers of the brewery. The food will feature Mississippi favorites from Southern Craft and Tap\u2019s <\/strong>chef, Bubba Gross<\/strong>,to be paired with the flights of craft beer. There will be fun games and activities provided to spice up the party. The Brewers\u2019 Banquet is sponsored by Delta Pride Catfish<\/strong>, Gulf Pride Select Shrimp<\/strong>, and The Lamar.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beer Tasting Trail<\/strong>
Saturday, March 30, noon\u20136 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second day of the event features our scavenger hunt app full of fun games, trivia, activities, and free tastings to engage the community and connect them with Oxford\u2019s craft beer scene from retail spaces to restaurants. Teams will compete in the scavenger hunt for chances to win beer swag and special prizes at the Miss-i-sippi\u2019 Brewin\u2019 & Groovin\u2019 after party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Download app: GooseChase<\/a><\/li>

  4. Multiple people can join one team\u2014look for game code!<\/li>
  5. The scavenger hunt is NOT A RACE<\/li>
  6. Have fun, hang out, drink beer, and be safe<\/li>
  7. You\u2019ll be entered into the raffle if you get +200 points and\nstickers on your helmet<\/li>
  8. There will be medals and a trophy for the overall winner, so be\ncreative\u2014you will be recognized.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Miss-i-sippin\u2019 Brewin\u2019 & Groovin\u2019 After Party<\/strong>

    Old Armory Pavilion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The culminating event of Miss-i-sippin\u2019 is the annual party at the Old Armory Pavilion. The party offers an evening event that allows families to bring children to play while mom and dad sample craft beers, tour food trucks, play games, and enjoy live music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
