While inside of the store, <strong>Khavona Morris<\/strong> (30 of <strong>Helena, Arkansas<\/strong>) distracted the clerk while the second suspect, <strong>Katrice Missouri<\/strong> (31 of <strong>Little Rock<\/strong>, AR), stole credit cards from the victim\u2019s purse. They then went to Wal-Mart and purchased $6,675.23 in prepaid debit cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Morris and Missouri returned to Oxford on February 13, 2019 and went to <strong>Cr\u00e8me De la Cr\u00e8me<\/strong> on South Lamar. Again, they distracted the clerk and stole her credit cards. They went back to Wal-Mart and bought $3,008.08 worth of prepaid debit cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Morris-Khavana.jpg?resize=640%2C480\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-73749\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On March 14, 2019, Morris and Missouri were arrested by the <strong>West Point Police Department<\/strong> on unrelated charges. After they posted bond in West Point the Oxford Police Department transported them to the <strong>Lafayette County Detention Center<\/strong> where they were both booked on two counts of felony credit card fraud. They were given a bond of $15,000 by a Justice Court Judge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OPD believes that these suspects were involved in a string of crimes with the same modus operandi.
