{"id":73425,"date":"2019-03-13T10:26:00","date_gmt":"2019-03-13T16:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/?p=73425"},"modified":"2019-03-13T10:27:18","modified_gmt":"2019-03-13T16:27:18","slug":"fake-facebook-profile-under-oxford-police-department-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/fake-facebook-profile-under-oxford-police-department-investigation\/","title":{"rendered":"Fake Facebook Profile Under Oxford Police Department Investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Oxford Police Department<\/strong> was recently made aware of a Facebook account associated with the agency that was citing negative and racist content. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities were alerted that a fraudulent account of OPD Captain, <strong>Hildon Sessums<\/strong>, was publishing offensive material. Upon initial investigation it was determined that the account was created by a third party who was not associated in any way with Captain Sessums, the Oxford Police Department,  or the <strong>City of Oxford<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OPD is working with Facebook to identify and locate the owner of the false account.
