His debut novel, <em><strong>Gravesend<\/strong>,<\/em>\u00a0was published as #1,000 in the Rivages\/Noir collection in France, where it was shortlisted for the Prix Polar SNCF 2017 and nominated for the Grand Prix de Litt\u00e9rature Polici\u00e8re. Boyle is also the author of a book of short stories,<em>\u00a0<strong>Death Don&#8217;t Have No Mercy<\/strong><\/em>, and of another novel,\u00a0<em><strong>Tout est Bris\u00e9<\/strong><\/em>, recently released in France by Gallmeister.
