Daniel Morrow<\/strong>‘s popular local live music series, Music in the Hall<\/strong>, will returns to\u00a0Water Valley<\/strong>\u00a0with a show on Saturday, October 27 at Ryan Pierce<\/strong>‘s woodworking shop.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you’re a fan of pedal steel and amazing vocals, you’re in luck. The show will feature\u00a0<\/span>Kell Kellum,\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Anne Freeman,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<\/span>Kate Teague.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>This will be the first show in Ryan’s space. Check out his custom furniture and vinyl stacking crates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Can’t make it to the show but still want to be a part of it?\u00a0If you can’t make it to the show, you can still help make it happen and enjoy a recording later.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For each show, there are two budget goals. The Barebones goal and the Now We’re Talkin goal. Both goals are public, and give you the ability to help out even if you can’t attend.\u00a0<\/span>The Barebones budget goal pays the crew and artists an amount somewhere between a favor and fair, closer to fair. The Now We’re Talkin goal makes everybody’s personal budget smile a little more.\u00a0<\/span>Community membership is pay-what-you-want. It lasts about three to four months (until the next show), can be as little as $3, and does not auto-renew.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>You get the access to a new MITH Community Board running on Trello, credit for helping making the show happen, a digital download of any video from the show that we release, and other surprises they’re still conjuring up.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bare Bones budget goal for this show is $1,250. The Now We’re Talkin budget is $2,500. We have from now until a couple weeks before the next show to get there, and any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.<\/span><\/p>\n

How the evening will go<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The barn doors will swing open at 6:00. \u00a0$15 entry. There are no fees when you\u00a0purchase tickets in advance<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>There will be some chairs, but you\u2019re free to bring your own. Just reply with a quick RSVP and your seating preference.<\/span><\/p>\n

At 7:00 sharp, the show will start. The rest of these times are fuzzy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Things to know<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Feel free to brown bag or bring a small cooler. \u00a0Ice, cups, and water will be available.\u00a0<\/span>If you\u2019re a new attendee, be aware of the need for quiet during the sessions. There’s plenty of time for chatting and catching up before, in between, and after the show.<\/span><\/p>\n

Discount for past artists and crew<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve played the show or worked on the crew of the show in the past, you can get a $5 discount on entry for up to two tickets. \u00a0If you\u2019ve played or helped out with five or more shows, you can name your own price for entry.<\/span><\/p>\n
