The Ole Miss Homecoming Parade<\/strong> will be Friday, October 5th , and will start at approximately\u00a0<\/span>5:20 pm The route will go from the Circle on campus, to University and South Lamar, make a left\u00a0<\/span>towards the Square, stop briefly for a pep rally, and then finish up on North Lamar. This will take about\u00a0<\/span>an hour. Traffic will be disrupted so make plans to find an alternate route if you aren\u2019t coming for the\u00a0<\/span>parade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday, October 6th, the Double Decker busses will run starting at 1:00 pm at no cost from\u00a0<\/span>the Square to campus and back before the game, during the game and for two hours after the game ends.\u00a0<\/span>Fans may park at FNC Park on Old Sardis Road, the South Oxford Center (old Baptist Hospital) and the\u00a0<\/span>Jackson Avenue Center for free shuttle parking and will be transported to campus. The JAC shuttle will\u00a0<\/span>start at 6:00 am and other shuttles will start at 10:00 am ADA shuttles will be available starting at\u00a0<\/span>10:00 am. This service will end one hour after game time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There is no parking on Chucky Mullins due to construction. Be aware of posted no parking\u00a0<\/span>zones, and if you are unsure, call the department to verify. Vehicles will be towed from designated no\u00a0<\/span>parking areas at the owner\u2019s expense.<\/span><\/p>\n

City taxi pick up and drop off will be at the intersection of Old Taylor Road and University Avenue.\u00a0<\/span>No other locations on the city streets are for pick up and drop off. If traffic is disrupted a ticket will be\u00a0<\/span>issued. Uber and Lyft should use the JAC lot and passengers can take the shuttle to campus.\u00a0<\/span>Oxford Police want to remind everyone to put valuables in the trunk and lock your cars.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the game: be cautious of police officers directing traffic in the road at the intersection of\u00a0<\/span>Jackson Ave and Highway 278. Hathorn Road will not be able to exit at Chucky Mullins; you must go to\u00a0<\/span>West Jackson Avenue. Old Taylor Road traffic must take Belk Blvd. to South Lamar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please watch for officers in roadways and pedestrians exiting the game. Fixed routes will\u00a0<\/span>continue until traffic is flowing freely.\u00a0\"The<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
