Oxford Ob\/Gyn Associates<\/strong> is excited to announce the addition of Meredith Griffin, M.D.<\/strong> to their highly skilled team to serve patients on a part-time basis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Griffin will be available by appointment starting\u00a0June 5.\u00a0She joins the team with over a decade of experience in obstetric and gynecological field.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to joining such a wonderful team of doctors,\u201d says Griffin. \u201cI attended school in Oxford, so being back in the community is a great feeling.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

After graduating from the University of Mississippi<\/strong> in 2001 with a degree in biochemistry, Dr. Griffin attended medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center<\/strong>, where she graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in 2005. She remained there for the next six years, completing a residency in the department of obstetrics and gynecology and working as a clinical instructor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Griffin moved to Kansas to work as a clinical instructor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Kansas Medical Center<\/strong> until 2013, before returning to Mississippi. She and her husband moved to Columbus, where she worked in private practice until they moved to Oxford earlier this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe Dr. Griffin will be a great asset to our team because she has great experience and is passionate about the field of obstetrics and gynecology,\u201d says Mary Lynn<\/strong>, director of operations at Oxford Ob\/Gyn Associates. \u201cWe have been fortunate to continue to grow and provide our patients with the best care possible.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Griffin is married to Josh Griffin, M.D.<\/strong>, a urologist at Oxford Urology Associates<\/strong>. They have two children, Anders and Harris. She enjoys traveling, reading, and volunteering in the community,<\/span><\/p>\n
