During the stop, a search was conducted of the vehicle and the stolen firearm was found in Ellis\u2019s possession. Ellis was taken into custody and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center. She was given a bond of $5,000 by Judge <strong>Carolyn Bell<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">On Saturday, May 19, the Oxford Police Department stopped a vehicle for speeding. Upon investigation, the driver, identified as <strong>Lee Herron<\/strong> (57 of <strong>Oxford<\/strong>) was arrested with DUI. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It was determined during the stop that Herron had 2 prior convictions for DUI. He was subsequently charged with a DUI 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0(Felony). <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Herron was also cited for Speeding, Expired Tag, No Insurance and Expired Driver\u2019s License.
