Most of his fans and spectators gather in bars and venues from word of mouth rather than any\u00a0advertising. Whitey\u2019s deep voice and twangy guitars remind one of an old country western film. He describes his\u00a0sound as \u201chonky-tonk\u201d and despises <strong>Nashville<\/strong> for its newfound popularity of pop country. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;This may be country\u00a0music, but it&#8217;s dirtier and more dangerous than your average Tennessee two-step&#8221; &#8211;<em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">With three albums under his belt, Whitey is almost always on tour, averaging over 200 shows a year.
